10 NUFC Players Who Are A "Soft Touch"

2. Moussa Sissoko

Moussa Sissoko was playing in midfield for Newcastle United on Saturday. You might have failed to notice him, however - because the Frenchman offered precisely nothing, in either a positive or negative sense, to the Newcastle cause. Listed as Newcastle's "fourth captain", Sissoko is certainly not someone you would want down the trenches with you - with the French international having already gotten himself sent off twice this season for stupid, cowardly challenges. Sissoko can be petulant, but at the moment he just looks thoroughly disinterested - and someone who publicly courted Arsenal's supposed interest in January appears to already be thinking about life after St James' Park. Carver knows Sissoko has the potential to take the game to the opposition and be a match-winner for the Magpies - but the head coach must surely realise the midfielder is simply unwilling to do that right now.
