Arsenal Transfers: 10 Players Wenger Should Have Signed

8. Falcao

The Deadline Day surprise was Manchester United deciding they were going to do a brilliant Real Madrid impression and build a totally unbalanced squad with the ethos of: €œWe will just score more than the opposition.€ Although the Colombian international couldn€™t get any further away from being an Arsene Wenger-type signing, there will have been plenty of fans who would€™ve loved to have seen the AS Monaco superstar rock up for his medical at London Colney €“ 63 goals in his last 88 Ligue 1 and La Liga appearances combined would suggest any fan base would want the striker nicknamed El Tigre. There is little doubt that Falcao would€™ve found the back of the net for Arsenal quicker than Yaya Sanogo (10 Premier League appearances and counting) €“ actually, even if Falcao never joins the red half of north London, he will more than likely have the same goals tally for the club as the 21-year-old!
