10 Players Dick Advocaat Could Bring With Him To Sunderland

2. Aron Jóhannsson

What could possibly go wrong when signing a highly-rated American striker from the Dutch league? Scoring goals in the Eredivisie can't be too much different to England's top flight, surely? Well, ask Jozy Altidore that question. Sifting through the Dutch league for genuine talent is an infamously tricky task, and signing anybody from there represents a huge gamble. Sometimes it pays off in the form of Wilfried Bony, but in most cases, clubs pluck out an 'Altidore'. Aron Johannsson is a top prospect for the growing US national team (USMNT), and the 24-year-old striker was brought to AZ Alkmaar under Advocaat. He's bagged 29 in 60 for the Dutch side, a record which falls short of Altidore's tally, but if moves to the Premier League, there's every chance he could adjust better than his compatriot.
