Okay, let's have a laugh. Will Sunderland sign Zoran Tosic? Probably not, but who knows what to expect from what looks certain to be a long, agonising summer searching for sheer quality rather than picking up worthless squad fillers like so many managers have done before Advocaat. Tosic already has two games worth of Premier League experience with Manchester United in 2009/10 but his time there was short-lived and he moved on permanently at the end of the season. The 28-year-old Serbian has made over 130 appearances for CSKA Moscow, so would he relish a move to complete his unfinished business with the Premier League, or is he content with staying way out in Russia? Again, many of these faces might be out of Sunderland's reach, and understandably, not all would be keen on a switch to a struggling Premier League side, but with Advocaat at the helm, a whole new range of players could be made available to Sunderland, and that could be the spark to haul the Black Cats away from danger once and for all.
