Stefan Savic had a hugely-forgettable one-season stay at Manchester City after arriving from Partizan Belgrade in 2011 but found himself bundled out of the exit door almost as soon as he had unpacked his bags. The young defender was part of the Premier League-winning squad of 2012 but scarcely featured during that campaign, making just 11 appearances for the Citizens. Even then the centre-back only played when the likes of Vincent Kompany and Joleon Lescott were either injured or rested, and failed to make much of an impression during his limited playing time, making a series of individual mistakes that led to him gaining a reputation as error-prone. If there's one positive that can be said of Savic's stay at Etihad Stadium it is that his sale to Fiorentina after only 12 months saw Matija Nastasic head in the opposite direction in part-exchange.
