5. Scott Sinclair
Scott Sinclair clearly didn't heed Adam Johnson's advice to young players not to join Manchester City. After an impressive spell with Swansea in 2012, City decided to snap up the starlet, but have scarcely given him the chance to impress in the near-two year spell he has spent at the club since. When Roberto Mancini signed Sinclair from Swansea, he must have been in the market for a blanket because the midfielder has only served to warm the City bench since, making three starts from a minuscule 15 appearances for the club last season and
playing a paltry 190 minutes of league football in the process. That equates to less than three full matches. Sinclair was a first-team regular during his days at Swansea but, in electing to join City, has seen his career go downhill. He spent all of last season on loan at West Brom, but struggled to break into their side and played mostly reserve team matches, and his best days appear to be in the past at the Liberty Stadium.
