10 Players Who Probably Regret Leaving Manchester United

5. Fabio

Barrington Coombs/EMPICS SportBarrington Coombs/EMPICS SportThe less successful of the 'samba twins' at United (Rafael being his more eminent sibling), Fabio's career has never quite taken off, despite early hopes that both siblings would live up to their wonderkid labels. He was never a regular for Man United, although he did start for the club in a Champions League final against Barcelona in 2011. Fabio was sometimes too rash in the tackle and got sent off a fair few times, which is possibly the reason for his lack of progression at United, but things have really gone downhill for the player since he left the club for Cardiff earlier this year. He can't even get a game for the relegated Welsh side, regularly appearing on the bench, which is a far cry from the premium event in European football. He has only played 9 league games for his current club and he now finds himself in the Championship instead of the Premier League for the first time ever. Cardiff are not guaranteed to be promoted either, so Fabio may find that he has a long wait to get back in the top division.

I am 21 years old and I have just recently graduated as a mathematics teacher. I have my own proofreading and writing business and I have wrote for journals for a couple of years. I am a published poet and I achieved first-class honours in my degree with many of my essays scoring over 75. I enjoy all types of writing, particularly creative and re-writing articles. Despite training to be a maths teacher, my love of english arguably exceeds my mathematics passion and writing is one of my passions in life, alongside my love of football and Manchester United.
