10 Players Sam Allardyce Could Bring With Him To Sunderland

10. Morgan Amalfitano

There's clearly some sort of talented footballer inside Morgan Amalfitano, but he hasn't quite cut it in the Premier League so far with two different clubs. He had forged a great reputation in France with successful spells at Sedan, Lorient and Marseille, before making the move across the channel to the Premier League. The creative midfielder was sent out to West Brom on loan for a season where he made 28 league appearances, scoring 4 goals. Allardyce then took him to West Ham where he made 24 league appearances (3 goals) in a year. He recently left West Ham on a free after a reported bust-up with Slaven Bilic over a missed team meeting. Allardyce once labelled the midfielder 'unprofessional' after being sent off during a Premier League game last season, but could the chance of a third crack at the Premier League be enough to sway Amalfitano back to his old boss?
