As specified already in the Morgan Schneiderlin entry, Spurs already have an abundance of players capable of playing in the middle of the park - Mousa Dembele, Paulinho, Etienne Capoue, Nabil Bentaleb and Benjamin Stambouli to name but a few of them - but a couple of those players appear to be out of favour under new boss Mauricio Pochettino and, if any of them leave in January, it might be worth bringing in someone else who is capable of playing there. Enter Fabian Delph. The former Leeds United man is finally starting to flourish in the Premier League, having previously shown so much promise and potential at Elland Road, and has forced his way in to the England reckoning as a result - indeed, England boss Roy Hodgson saw fit to play Delph from the start in England's recent 2-0 victory over Switzerland in a Euro 2016 qualifying match. It could, therefore, be time for Delph to take the step up to a bigger club that regularly appears in the top half of the Premier League table and an English presence in the midfield is something Spurs obviously lack. Delph's industry and tenacity - as well as his obvious quality - could really help out the Lilywhites.
