10 Players Who Will Rule Premier League In 2020/21

3. Kevin De Bruyne (Manchester City)

The 2019/20 Premier League Player of the Season winner, Kevin De Bruyne has put the argument over who the best player in the league is well and truly to bed with his performances over the past year or so. Whilst almost every Manchester City player has fell short at times as Pep Guardiola's side offered a fairly limp title defence, KDB repeatedly stood up time and time again with breathtaking goals and majestic playmaking.

16 Goals and 23 goals, 14 and 20 of those coming in the league, from his 47 games during last season was something the Premier League hadn't ever seen before and easily represented the Belgian's best ever tally over the course of his career. He finished the season with an xG (Expected Goals) of -5.89 goals better than what he was expected to score based on the quality of his chances, and his 4.25 key passes per game was better than what Sadio Mane and Mohammed Salah could manage put together.

His coolness on the ball and vision leads to the Belgian midfielder producing moments on the pitch that absolutely no one else could have seen and, with City out with a point to prove ahead of next season, there's every chance De Bruyne could take his stellar performances to new heights over the course of the 2020/21 campaign.
