8. Robbie Brady

Another player who has gone on to have a successful career at both club and international level, left-winger Robbie Brady did indeed break into football at United.

Making just a solitary appearance for United back in 2012 when he came off the bench in a 2-1 win over Newcastle United, Brady was moved out on loan to Hull City.

He made his name with the Tigers, and much like James Chester, impressed enough to see his move turned into a permanent one.

Brady has been a consistent figure at Premier League level, known for his versatility down the left hand side of the pitch.

Spells with Norwich City and more recently, Burnley, have followed, while 45 caps for the Republic of Ireland show just how good Brady is.

He might not have made it at United, but it once again shows the strength the Red Devils have when it comes to producing top flight ready players.
