10 Reasons Dana White Is Going To Want To Forget 2014

5. Wanderlei Silva's Antics

Jeff Chiu/AP/Press Association ImagesJeff Chiu/AP/Press Association Images Wanderlei Silva. The Axe Murderer. A beloved MMA icon. Respected by fans everywhere, worshipped in his home country of Brazil. Up until The Ultimate Fighter Brazil 3, and the antics that took place on and after the show. It's all been well-covered in the press, but as a recap: Silva attempted to ambush Chael Sonnen back at an Olympia Fitness event in 2013, filming the confrontation to post online. During their 2014 stint as rival coaches on TUF Brazil 3, Silva sparked an on-set brawl by attacking Sonnen, enraging Dana White. After the end of the season, Silva caused the coach's fight with Sonnen to be delayed as he was injured in the on-set brawl. Silva was then approached by the NSAC for a surprise drug test at his gym in May of 2014. Instead of taking the test, he literally ran out of the back door, and blamed it on a language barrier and not knowing who the NSAC rep who had arrived to do the test was. However he changed his story when he went before the NSAC, saying he knew he had a banned substance in his system.
