You've really got to give a massive round of applause to Julius Peppers, his advisors and generally everybody involved with his contract negotiations, as he is comfortably the highest paid non-quarterback in the history of the league. His Carolina Panthers contract ran up to $62 million, before the Chicago Bears signed him to a gigantic contract worth up to $84 million. Now he's at the Packers in the middle of a three-year deal which could rack up another $25 million for the defensive end. He became the first player in NFL history to reach 100+ sacks and 10 interceptions, though Ndamukong Suh could be on his way to topping Peppers, with his stunning $114 million deal with the Dolphins this off-season.
