Sandro was a fans' favourite at Spurs - and with good reason. He is a full Brazilian international, in spite of the fact that he has an extremely non-Brazilian playing style. Rather than being flamboyant and skilful, Sandro is a tenacious workhorse who runs his socks off to win possession for his team and who would put his head where most people wouldn't put their boots. He is also a major character and possesses a huge and likeable personality off the pitch. He often interacted with fans and was the focus of a number of videos that made it online, whereby he would be acting the goat amongst his fellow Spurs players. But he really wasn't given a fair crack of the whip at White Hart Lane. He inexplicably spent far too much time on the bench - only making sixty Premier League starts in four and a half years at Spurs. Surprisingly, he was one of the players sold by Mauricio Pochettino upon the Argentinian's arrival at White Hart Lane - joining former boss Harry Redknapp at lowly Queens Park Rangers. It seems like such a shocking waste of talent.
