Christian Eriksen was arguably Spurs' best player last season and, while he might not be hitting the same heights as he was back then, you can't really fault his efforts this season either. The Danish maestro is still one of Spurs' better performing players in this campaign, having scored three goals in his nine Premier League starts so far. More to the point, he still looks like he believes in Spurs and wants them to win. He also maintains the Spurs philosophy of creating and attacking football. He always looks to advance with the ball, tries to create and looks for the key passes. Eriksen is also the closest thing Spurs have to replacing the much-missed Rafael van der Vaart - creating that link between the midfield and the striker. If Spurs don't improve soon, nobody would blame if his head was turned by a Champions League club.
