Vlad Chiriches is currently one of the most under-fire players at Spurs - so much so that the recent stories linking him to a January move to Arsenal have actually been welcome by Spurs fans - and rightly so. He's been terrible this season, taking too long on the ball, playing difficult passes, messing up easy passes and generally looking awkward and clumsy - but the fact is that, when he's on form, he can play in a number of positions. Spurs fans have already seen him playing at centre back and in both full back positions but, in the past, he has also played as both a defensive midfielder, a straight-up central midfielder and even a striker - the positions he started his career in as a youth player for Romanian clubs LPS Bacau and Ardealul Cluj.
