10 Spurs Players Who Were Extremely Versatile

4. Nacer Chadli

Time At Spurs: 2013-Present. Positions: Wide Forward, Winger, "Central Winger", Attacking Midfielder, Second Striker. First impressions of Nacer Chadli after his signature last season were that of disappointment. Aside from one great goal against Newcastle United, he did very little to endear himself to Spurs fans - but this season has been a different beast entirely. He is the club's top scorer in the Premier League with six goals and has been one of the few positives to the season - not least because of his versatility. Under Andre Villas-Boas, Chadli played as a wide forward and, under Tim Sherwood, he played as a "central winger". Now, he has already played in two roles for Mauricio Pochettino - as one of a trio of attacking midfielders and as a winger, the latter of which has focused on Chadli as a counter-attacker. He can also play as a second striker.
