Daniel Sturridge has had a real up-and-down career over the years. The former Manchester City had a mixed start to his career, enduring a couple of poor seasons before finally enjoying a bit of a breakout year in the 2011-12 season with Chelsea, scoring 13 goals in all competitions.

Despite his good form, Sturridge was deemed surplus to requirements at Stamford Bridge and headed off to Anfield. There, he seemed to get even better, forming that famously lethal 'SAS' partnership with Luis Suarez. In 2013-14, he scored 21 league goals, earning a proud place as the Premier League's second best scorer.

And then the injuries came and smashed any kind of rhythm he'd managed to establish. Since the start of the 2014-15 season, he's made just 55 league appearances for Liverpool and scored 15 goals. A recent loan move to West Brom proved fruitless as he picked up another hamstring injury and failed to score a single goal.

Now, Sturridge's future seems very uncertain. Klopp has said that the 28-year-old still has a part to play at Anfield, but rumours have also linked him with a move abroad to Sevilla or Besiktas. The England international seems intent on fighting for his spot at Anfield, but if a good offer comes in, Liverpool might be tempted to take it.
