From one Daniel to another, Sturridge's fellow England forward Danny Welbeck is being linked with a move away from Arsenal, with new boss Unai Emery keen to free up a bit of space in his squad and make some changes.

Welbeck has been one of the most frustrating figures to follow in the Premier League over the last decade. The former Manchester United man hasn't managed to score more than 9 goals in a single league season and has been plagued by one injury after another, never able to string together a real run of games.

His 2014 deadline day move to Arsenal was an interesting one, and Welbeck has scored a few vital goals for the team over the years, but has only managed to make 80 league appearances, netting just 15 times.

Despite his talent and admirable work ethic, Welbeck can't rely on his own body to stay injury-free for a full season, and it's no surprise Arsenal are looking to move him on, especially as he only has a year left on his contract. A move to Everton has been rumoured. Fans of the Merseyside club might not be too keen on Welbeck, but he's not a bad squad player and can make an impact off the bench.
