http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gWKYVJsyjlY Many a talented junior player has found the expectations and rigours of the professional tennis circuit beyond them and struggled to translate their early promise into mature mastery. Andrey Rublev will soon discover whether he has what it takes to make the jump. At 16 years of age, the young Russian is currently the tennis world€™s top-ranked junior male, and won the Boys' French Open title earlier this year. He is an accomplished doubles player, which bodes well for his ability to mix up his game with visits to the net, and Rublev has started to make inroads into the professional game by playing several tournaments on the Futures circuit. Why he could take over the sport: Already ranked inside the top 500, the early signs are encouraging for the young clay court specialist. There is such an enormous divide between the junior and senior circuit that future predictions are inherently precarious. As always, time will tell.
