9. Current Form
After a solid start last season Notts County were unfortunately relegated from League One, after just about staying up the season before that. Current manager Ricardo Moniz was given a three-year contract in April but couldn't avoid the drop. The Dutchman, who made over 270 senior appearances for the likes of PSV Eindhoven and HFC Haarlem, has been tasked with guiding Notts County straight back into League One - but so far things have been difficult. Sitting in 16th place in the League Two table, Notts County have only won once in the league, taking three points on the opening day of the season with a 2-0 win away at Stevenage. In the Cup Notts County have shown they are capable of an upset and beat Huddersfield Town 2-1 away to earn themselves a trip to Villa Park. Despite picking up a point in a 1-1 draw against Accrington last Saturday their league form will undoubtedly be a concern for Ricardo Moniz.
