EA Sports hand-picked a number of world class players to line up with the four-time Ballon d'Or winner, making a specific cover for each region or country. The other players staring on the front cover were David Alaba (Austria) Robert Lewandowski (Poland) Xherdan Shaqiri (Switzerland), Gonzalo Higuaín (Italy), Tim Cahill (Australia and New Zealand), Michal Kadlec (Czech Republic), Eden Hazard (UK, France, Netherlands and Belgium) and Clint Dempsey (United States and Canada).
