Manchester United used to be good at grinding out results. Turning 0-0 draws into 1-0 wins with a last minute goal has been part of the club's fabric over the past decade, but somewhere along the way United have forgotten how to wring maximum points out of games. Though City spent just 11 days at the top of the table during the whole season, their ability to get maximum points returns from games saw them through. This is something the Red Devils need to relearn under Louis van Gaal.
