9. They Have Even Longer-Suffering Fans Than Newcastle... Because They Haven't Won A Major Trophy Since 1951

Newcastle United supporters may not have been able to celebrate winning a trophy since 1969 - or a domestic cup since 1955 - yet Club Atlas' fans have suffered for even longer. Although they lifted the Copa MX trophy in both 1962 and 1968, this is a lesser competition in Mexico that was even abolished in 1997, only for it to be brought back in 2012. In fact, the only major trophy the club has ever claimed was in 1950-51 - when they lifted the Mexican Liga MX trophy after winning the league. That's 64 years and counting without a major trophy, just the 18 more than the Magpies. At least constant disappointment is something both sets of supporters can bond over anyway...
