Following on with the trend of Tigers worst performances we look at his worst opening performance of a professional season. In 2011 Tiger began the season with the Farmers Insurance Open at Torrey Pines, a course on which he had been victorious six times previously. On this particular outing Tiger could not get anything going in his opening two rounds and eventually missed the cut with scores of 74 and 75, 15 strokes off of the lead held by Bubba Watson who went on to win the tournament. Tiger has since regained form at courses that he has had past success at and holds the record for winning 8 times at several events.
Thomas is currently a postgraduate student of literature at the University of St. Andrews. He enjoys music and golf in his spare time when he isn't writing. Tom completed his first novel in the summer of 2013 which was published at the start of this year.
