This may sound like some kind of April fools joke but its not April and this is, unfortunately, not a joke. One of the Tito's demands when he signed a new contract with the UFC back in 2005 when the name Tito Ortiz still carried some significant weight in the MMA world was that he would be able to fight his boss, Dana White, in an exhibition boxing match. For some bizarre reason, White agreed and the fight was to even be sanctioned by a state athletic commission. In order to disguise the fact this boxing match's purpose was for the two men to finally act on the growing resentment they felt towards each other, it was stated that all proceeds from the bout would go to charity. However, on the day of the weigh-ins Ortiz never showed up but he did leave White a voicemail saying how he had 'let him off the hook'. Thats very big of you Tito... Though neither man came off well in this unbelievable incident, Dana White whose image has come a long way since 2005 would sooner be known as a businessman than an amateur boxing wannabe. At least you trimmed up a bit training for the fight, eh Dana?
