3. Dennis Bermudez's Long Overdue Fight On A Main Card
How can the UFC book someone to keep fighting on the preliminaries, when they're on a four to five fight win streak? Dennis Bermudez hasn't had a fair shake over the past year until now. He's on a six fight win streak and gets to fight against a well-tested veteran on national television. While Bermudez remains relatively unknown, he deserves more attention for being so successful and relentless in his fights. His style should mesh up well with Clay Guida into a potential fight of the night contender on any regular card. Bermudez will need to impose his strength and agility into his takedowns to beat Guida. While he may look older and slimmer, Guida is still sturdy and can still wrestle or grapple with the best of them. That is why Bermudez may look to get this fight against the fence and punish Guida from there. That was where he was most effective in his thrilling victory over Matt Grice. His striking is still a work in progress, but he knows how to utilize his power inside the clinch. This should be a fast-paced battle, where whoever is more relentless will likely win. You can't let up for any moment against someone like Guida
