7. Perfect Return For Fellaini

Marouane Fellaini again proved he has a role to play in this Manchester United squad with a crucial late goal to make it 3-1 to the Red Devils. It was an important moment for Fellaini, and vindicated his manager for choosing to bring him on instead of Ander Herrera for the final few minutes.

After foolishly getting himself sent off in the final match of last season, it was paramount he made an impression here, and that is exactly what he did. The Belgian has come a long way from being jeered by a small section of the United faithful during pre-season of last year and looks to be a real danger in the box for opposition defenders.

I’m still not sure lumping it forward to him is the way to go in the long-term, but for now it seems to be working.
