9. The Ultimate Fighter Finale Is On Friday
In all honesty, the UFC 213 prelims are a little underwhelming, with Travis Browne vs. Oleksiy Oliynyk headlining the undercard. To get you in the mood though, Friday night's The Ultimate Fighter 25 Finale should do a much better job. Though TUF is mostly a tired concept, the current Redemption series has been its best in a while.
Justin Gaethje takes on Michael Johnson in the main event in a fight destined to be a brawl. Gaethje comes over after a run in World Series of Fighting which saw him win all 11 bouts with WSOF to run up a 17-0 pro record. Gaethje fights are always entertaining, but we'll have to wait and see if his style will translate against tougher opposition.
Of course there will the TUF final aswell. Dhiego Lima (brother of Bellator welterweight champ Douglad) is in the final, and he'll face the winner of James Krause vs. Jesse Taylor, broadcast on Wednesday's final TUF episode. Throw in Marc Diakiese vs. Drakkar Klose and Brad Tavares vs. Elias Theodorou, and Friday night should be a lot of fun. Watch out for Aspen Ladd's debut on the prelims too.
