10 UFC Fights We Want For Anthony "Showtime" Pettis
3. Frankie Edgar
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wQRzhj2r5eU Once upon a time, Frankie Edgar was lightweight champ in the UFC, defeating B.J. Penn twice to end the Penn era, then fighting to a draw with Gray Maynard before finally beating him at UFC 136. Then he lost the belt to Benson Henderson, lost the rematch, and dropped down to featherweight, where he lost an immediate title shot against champion Jose Aldo. The three fight losing streak would be the worst of his career, but he has bounced back since, besting Charles Oliveira and most recently old nemesis B.J. Penn, sending him into a (hopefully) final retirement. With the landscape at lightweight changed, however, imagine if Edgar went back up? Edgar has lost to Jose Aldo already, but he's never even fought Anthony Pettis, and that would be a hell of a fight - even a dream fight - right there. Edgar seems focused on featherweight for now, but we could easily see him go up if someone at lightweight were to fall to injury and a title shot open up.
