Spain won their first World Cup in 2010 and it was at the expense of Holland. A poor final that featured few chances, it was decided in extra-time by Andres Iniesta. Towards the close of normal time, one of the best chances of the game fell to Arjen Robben. The Dutch winger had already scored two goals in the tournament before having the opportunity to score a winner in the final. Unfortunately for Robben, he couldn't get a shot away before Casillas got a hold of the ball. Replays show that Carles Puyol fouled Robben as he was going through on goal.

Fast forward to 2014. Spain and Holland meet again at the World Cup, this time in the group stage of Brazil 2014. Robben had been regarded as a big-game bottler before hitting the winner in a Champions League final for Bayern in 2013. Now he would exorcise further demons. Spain took the lead through a penalty before Holland roared back. Robin van Persie equalised with a magnificent header to put the Dutch on the comeback trail.

Robben puts his country ahead with a composed finish - it turns out to be the winner - and two more goals are scored before he rubs salt in Spanish wounds with a brilliant solo goal.
