10 Most Underrated Premier League Players Today

3. Theo Walcott

Adam Davy/PA WireAdam Davy/PA WireThe inclusion of Theo Walcott on this list of underrated players may come as a surprise to some, who would argue that most football fans acknowledge that he is a very good player. However, it could be argued that he is better than €˜very good€™, and would maybe even get into most sides in the world. Walcott of old, €˜the winger€™ who would hug the touchline and look to make chances for others is not someone who should be considered world class, however in his new €˜inside forward€™ role at Arsenal where he has played in more of a front three for the last couple of seasons, the player has thrived. His final ball and, more significantly, his finishing have improved tremendously. His immense pace too is clear for all to see and there is no doubt that England missed him at this summer€™s World Cup more than many people realise.
