Paul Pogba. Manchester United should move heaven and Earth to bring the French midfielder back to the club. And while it wont be easy given his acrimonious departure, the club simply cannot afford to let the player slip through their grasp. Pogba could lead the team from the middle for the next ten years, and likely already would be had he not crossed then manager Alex Ferguson. If Pogba were to join another Premier League club it would be a real dent in the Red Devils long term aspirations, and his arrival would generate a threat and menace in the side akin to Man Citys Yaya Toure. A leader was sorely missed last season and the club have never really replaced Paul Scholes in the influential box to box midfielder role. Pogba could perform this role well and his presence, along with a strong holding midfielder could take the pressure off the beleaguered defence and enable the potentially supreme attack.
