10 Ways To Reinvent The Ultimate Fighter TV Show

10. Take A Break

Static Two seasons a year seems to be more than the talent pool of available fighters can really take. Most shows do a single season. Game of Thrones tortures us - to Theon Greyjoy levels - by producing just 10 episodes in an entire season, then making us wait nearly a year for the next new run of episodes, but we watch in record numbers nonetheless. While the show's contract with FOX likely prevents this option in the short term, doing a single season each calendar year could benefit the show. It would allow the promotion to load every season with more talented fighters, and give viewers time away from the drama and antics of the show, making its return something to look forward to, rather than something to yawn over. After all, absence makes the heart grow fonder.
