Another member of Croatia's super side, Ivan Perišić was his nation's joint top scorer in Russia, netting three times in total. His last-minute winner against Iceland helped Croatia finish the group stage with a perfect record, and he was absolutely key in his country's semi-final win over England, scoring once and setting up Mario Mandžukić for the extra time winner.

In the final, he maintained his impressive form, scoring a first-half equaliser to keep his team temporarily in the game. At the age of 29, Croatia's fifth highest all-time scorer has often been linked with big transfers but nothing ever seems to come of the rumours. He's been at Inter Milan since 2015 now, but has done more than enough to earn one last big transfer and a shot at glory with a new side.

Perišić, like most other players on this list, has been connected with a big money move to Manchester United. Reports from various sources, including The Express, suggest that £53 million could be the right price for Perišić, who was also linked with a switch to Old Trafford last summer - with José Mourinho said to be a big fan.
