10. Robbie Keane (vs Blackburn, 2011)
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_tw58Te7hkU Former West Ham manager Avram Grant brought Robbie Keane in on loan in 2010-11 in a bid to salvage his side's status in the Premier League, but not one, not two but THREE howlers from the experienced striker ended up ironically contributing to their relegation in 2011. Keane missed the first of his three sitters a fortnight before THIS howler, with blunder No.1 coming against Chelsea, with the Hammers only a goal down. A week later came another glaring miss came against Manchester City though West Ham were already two-nil down at the time. But no excuses can be made here. With the goal at his mercy following Frederic Piquionne's cutting cross past goalkeeper Paul Robinson, Keane got his footing all wrong and, when he attempted to side-foot home, the ball instead passed him by and dribbled agonisingly out of play. Had he tapped this one in, West Ham may have been safe. As it was, they went down.
