10 Young Players Who Could Help England Win World Cup 2022

3. Ademola Lookman

Ademola Lookman is another player who has already tasted victory with England, having scored three goals over the course of the U20 side's successful campaign at the 2017 World Cup. He's currently a part of the U21 set-up but could make the move to the seniors if the upward trajectory of his career continues over the next few years.

A product of Charlton Athletic's academy, Lookman excelled in youth sides and was rapidly promoted to the senior squad, scoring his first professional goal at the age of 18 and continuing to impress in the following months. He secured a transfer to Everton in January 2016 and enjoyed the honour of scoring on his Premier League debut in a 4-0 victory against Manchester City.

Lookman appeared a few more times for Everton but it was eventually decided that he could benefit from a loan move. The youngster pushed for a switch to RB Leipzig, where he scored on his debut and netted four more times in 11 Bundesliga appearances. A highly-rated young striker with a lot of confidence and great technique, Lookman has all the talent he needs to develop into a top quality player.
