10 Youngest Players Called Up For World Cup 2018

6. Moussa Wagué (19) - Senegal

A 19-year-old right-back with a promising future, Moussa Wagué currently plies his trade for Eupen in the Belgian league, helping his team narrowly escape relegation this year and locking down a starting place in the first 11 in the process.

Part of Senegal's Under-20 team that made it to the semi-finals of the 2015 U-20 World Cup, as well as being involved in the nation's U-23 side which also got to the semi-finals of the U-23 Africa Cup of Nations in the same year, Wagué has long been an exciting prospect for the Lions of Teranga and made the step up to the senior team in March of last year.

Since then, he's gone on to make 7 international appearances and has proven to be a reliable performer for his national side. He won't necessarily be starting any games at this summer's tournament, as Bordeaux's 25-year-old Youssouf Sabaly has more experience of high-level football, but it's certainly possible that Wagué will get some time on the pitch.
