PAPALike Steve Ogrizovic before him, Iain Dowie wasn't blessed with the prettiest of faces - and was often compared to Sloth of "The Goonies" fame (and is another regular on scariest/ugliest footballer lists). But, given that Sloth isn't a Universal Monster, we've had to compromise. The Phantom of the Opera would hide his face so that nobody could see it and, once it was revealed, there's something of a resemblance to poor Iain Dowie when the former Northern Ireland forward was striking certain poses.
