9. David Bentley Vs Arsenal
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d0r7wb1z0Sc Date: Wednesday the 29th of October 2008 Venue: The Emirates Stadium Score: 4-4 (This goal put Spurs 1-0 up) David Bentley's career at Spurs was a catastrophe. They shelled out £15 million of the Blackburn Rovers winger and he essentially offered nothing in return - apart from one moment of brilliance against one of his former clubs and Spurs' bitter rivals Arsenal. After thirteen minutes of the match, Bentley opened the scoring when an Arsenal clearance was looped back in to the Gunners' half by Luka Modric. Tom Huddlestone headed it in to Bentley's path and the winger controlled it, teed himself up and launched a volley from fully forty yards that Arsenal goalkeeper Manuel Almunia got a hand to but could not keep out. However, there was an even more memorable goal in this game and we'll get to that in a short while (as well as everything else that happened in the match)...
