https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hfGpA_DUl6E Date: Wednesday the 14th of April 2010 Venue: White Hart Lane Score: 2-1 (This goal put Spurs 1-0 up) What a debut! It's a North London derby in front of your own fans, your team wins, and you open the scoring with an absolute screamer! Danny Rose will never forget this match - and the Spurs faithful will never forget his goal. In the tenth minute, Arsenal goalkeeper Manuel Almunia punched away Gareth Bale's inswinging corner but, from fully 30-yards out, Rose was lurking and the then 19-year-old unleashed an instinctive and incredibly powerful left-foot volley that went beyond Almunia and in to the net. Bale then went on to score himself in the 47th minute to give Spurs a 2-0 lead, before Nicklas Bendtner scored five minutes from full time to give Arsenal hope. However, Spurs held out for a memorable victory and created a particularly memorable day for Danny Rose.
