11 Players That Represented Both Man Utd And Newcastle

1. Peter Beardsley

Yes. Really. Despite being one of Newcastle's greatest ever players, Pedro's first forays into the top level of the English game came at Old Trafford. He was signed by Ron Atkinson for £250,000 1982 after impressive spells at Carlisle United and Vancouver Whitecaps. He made just one first team appearance for the Red Devils in a League Cup tie against Bournemouth before returning to Vancouver on a free transfer on March 1, 1983. He would then turn out for Newcastle from 1983-87 and 93-97, making 325 appearances and scoring 119 goals. What a player.
