11 Potential Inaugural Premier League Hall Of Fame Inductees
8. John Terry
As far as club legend status goes, few people can lay claim to that title as confidently as John Terry can. Even though Terry spent the majority of his youth career with West Ham, he signed for the Chelsea senior team in 1998 and spent almost 20 seasons with the blues, before joining then Championship side Aston Villa in 2017 as a free agent.
John Terry had a decorated career as a player and may look to extend this form into management in the near future. With Chelsea, Terry made 492 appearances and scored 41 goals, a surprisingly good goal/game ratio for a centre back. Terry is also the most decorated Chelsea player in the Premier League era, having won five Premier League titles, the first of which coming in 2005.
Terry's other accomplishments as a player include five FA Cups, two Football League Cups, the 2012 Champions League and 2013 Europa League. Terry also made the Premier League PFA Team of the Year four times and was named PFA Player of the Year in 2005.
