Word of warning to any Liverpool or Manchester City fans reading this: there are a lot of Manchester United players in this list.

Manchester United have nurtured, developed and hosted their fair share of legends over the decades, with a good portion of these icons coming in the Premier League era. Paul Scholes spent 20 season playing in the Premier League, all of which with his boyhood club Manchester United. In that time Scholes made 499 appearances for the club and scored 107 goals, making him one of the few midfielders in the Premier League's 100 goals club.

Scholes had an incredibly decorated career with Manchester United in the Premier League, domestically and in European competition. Scholes won eleven Premier League titles, two Champions Leagues, three FA Cups, two Football League Cups, the 2008 FIFA Club World Cup and featured in the PFA Team of the Year twice. All of these accolades mean he is surely a front runner to be inducted to the Premier League Hall of Fame.
