Not only do both of the new Seattle Sounders kits look like an Xbox, they're sponsored by Xbox.

US hero Clint Dempsey, former Newcastle United striker Obafemi Martins and exciting youngster Christian Roldan (which would have been Cristiano Ronaldo's name many years ago on PES) are already turning out for the Rave Green at away grounds across North America this season in the more minimal of the two jerseys; the latter bears a passing resemblance to the outfit worn by Darth Vader actor David Prowse in his Green Cross Code adverts from the 1970s.

It gets better. Shirt manufacturers have stitched a popular stadium chant between the two shirts. "Come on Seattle" on the inside neck of the home jersey and "Fight and Win" on the away top.

Double-cringe.

Although the shirt is pretty cheese the club is no laughing matter. The Seattle Sounders is the most valuable franchise in the MLS thanks to a large number of fans, none of whom could possibly be PlayStation owners.
