Signed from Melbourne Heart during the summer of 2012 for just £150,000, Newcastle felt they had made a bargain purchase and that 6ft 2in Curtis Good would develop into a Premier League centre-back. Three years on and Good has failed to make a single Premier League appearance, playing just once for Newcastle in the League Cup, and even struggling during loan spells at Bradford City and Dundee United. Capped once by Australia in 2014, Good does not look like making the grade at St James' Park having struggled to progress due to a succession of injuries.
