12 Things Newcastle Fans Need To Know About Patrick Vieira's Managerial Career

3. Vieira Has Already Told Man City He Would Leave For An "Interesting Job"

Newcastle should take notice - because Vieira has already made it clear that he would be willing to leave Manchester City for an "interesting job". Although Vieira is enjoying his role in Manchester, he is willing to move away should he be offered a role he believes he could excel in. When he was asked a couple of months ago about rumours linking him with taking interim charge of Man City should Manuel Pellegrini be sacked, Vieira responded as follows:
"We have a manager (Pellegrini) so I don't think about succeeding him. My contract will be up in June and I will soon talk with my bosses. "I feel good here, so I don't see why I shouldn't continue developing. "I have set out with the aim of becoming a great manager. It's a job I really want to do. "If an interesting job comes up tomorrow I will take a careful look at it."
It's over to you Lee Charnley to make the job "interesting" enough for Vieira...
