9. He Describes His Own Coaching Style As A Combination Of The Qualities Of "Arsene Wenger, Fabio Capello And Jose Mourinho"

Vieira seems to have a pretty-high opinion of his own coaching credentials - believing he has taken on a lot of the positive characteristics of some of the world-class managers he has played under. Speaking to the Daily Mail about his embryonic coaching career, Vieira said:

"My coaching style is a combination from my experience of working with Arsene Wenger, Fabio Capello and Jose Mourinho.

"There is a little bit of all of them, plus my own experience to deliver my message. The relationship with the players is so important.

"I want to trust them but they must trust me, too. I like it because I want to be close with them."

There are certainly worse managers to base yourself on than those three...
