5. Demba Ba (Shanghai Shenhua)
Senegalese striker Demba Ba has had prolific spells in France, Belgium, Germany, England and Turkey, with the latter being enough to catch the interest of Shanghai Shenhua in 2015. Ba had scored 27 goals in 44 games since arriving at Besiktas, and there were supposedly a fair few Premier League teams interested in bringing him back to England. They were all beaten to it by Shanghai, however, who coughed up
£9 million to land the 30 year-old on a lucrative three-year-deal.
