15 Bellator Fighters Who Would Succeed In The UFC

8. Eduardo Dantas

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Zb-mhiHPZJ8 Weight Class: Bantamweight Is Eduardo Dantas the best bantamweight you haven't heard of? Maybe. Dantas trains with Nova Uniao - home to Jose Aldo and Renan Barao. In other words, some of the best fighters in the world in the smaller weight classes. He's got all the skills you expect from a Nova Uniao fighter, and would crush a lot of the competition in the UFC's bantamweight division on any given day. He's ranked sixth in Sherdog's bantamweight rankings. The problem is, Bellator allowed the unthinkable to happen with their bantamweight champion: they allowed him to fight in a non-title match outside of Bellator, against Tyson Nam - and he lost. Anyone can get caught on any given night in MMA, so we can forgive Dantas the loss. He came back from the upset to score two successful title defences, but you can bet Bellator won't be letting him fight outside the company again. Dantas is currently out with injury - one of the knocks against him is that he has been a bit injury prone - but when back, he'll be lined up against interim champ Joe Warren, in a fight he should win.
